Siebel, Quintus Enter Into Global Alliance
Siebel and Quintus announced a worldwide reseller, marketing and technology
alliance. The alliance includes the following agreements: Quintus will
market and sell Siebel eBusiness Applications in conjunction with Quintus
eContact through Quintus' worldwide sales force and distribution channels;
Siebel has licensed Quintus eContact universal queuing technology to add
multimedia queuing and intelligent routing capabilities to future Siebel
eBusiness Application releases; and Quintus has become a Strategic Software
Partner in the Siebel Alliance program, which provides for joint marketing
and sales programs between the companies.

Swallow Information Systems has signed a global distribution agreement
with Kana Communications. The combined technologies will provide e-businesses
with a multi-channel solution for customer contact management covering
all forms of communication including: Web form, email, telephone, fax
and letter. The global partnership also makes Swallow the first reseller
of Kana products in the United Kingdom.

Mindmaker, Inc., a developer of personal assistants and an artificial
intelligence technology incubator, introduced its text-to-speech (TTS)
technology at the AVIOS annual conference. Mindmaker's FlexVoice TTS technology
generates high quality, human-sounding multiple voices with high end-user
and development flexibility and low resource requirements for both server
and client applications.

Telera Sells Self-Serve App To National Air
Telera, an application service provider, says that National Airlines will
implement their scalable and web-driven Talk@Net service to offer phone-based
self-service applications. National Airlines, a Las Vegas-based carrier
offering scheduled passenger and cargo service, will implement Telera's
Talk@Net interactive voice response (IVR) application to answer flight
information calls placed by airline customers. Today, flight information
calls are handled by reservation agents at the call center.
Frost: CosmoCom占有50%的IP ACD市场

Frost: CosmoCom Has 50% of IP ACD Market
A spring, 2000 Frost & Sullivan report titled "US Web-Enabled Call
Center Markets" says CosmoCom had a 50% share of the US market for server-based
IP-ACD in 1999, beating out PakNetX (now owned by Aspect) with only a
25% share of the marketplace, and all 13 other market participants (among
them Cisco, eGain, IEX, Lucent, Nortel, Quintus, and Picazo) with a total
combined market share of only 25%.

and partners and Austin Logistics Incorporated, a provider of decision
support technology for call centers and financial management operations
have signed on as Alliance members.
