Convergys brings 280 new Spanish language jobs to Ft. Lauderdale area

Convergys Corporation a global leader in relationship management, is seeking candidates for 280 full-time Spanish language customer service/sales positions at its contact center in Tamarac, Florida, part of the Fort Lauderdale, Florida metropolitan area.

Convergys invites those interested in a position to attend a Recruitment Open House from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11 and Wednesday, January 12 at Convergys, 5601 Hiatus Road in Tamarac. New employees recruited for these positions will provide customer service and sales support in Spanish for a client in the entertainment industry.

“The New Year is bringing new business to our contact center and new opportunities for local job seekers,” said Stacy Cheekan, senior recruitment manager for the Convergys contact center in Tamarac. “Customer care continues to be an important differentiator for companies that wish to succeed in this consumer-driven economy. We’re looking for Spanish-speaking individuals to serve customers for whom Spanish is their language of choice.”

Convergys offers employees five weeks of paid comprehensive training, competitive wages, and benefits including medical and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), and paid and unpaid time off.

Potential Convergys employees should possess solid customer service and sales experience, strong computer and keyboarding skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Employment with Convergys is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
